It has a CNC-machined metal faceplate. It comes with both 3.5mm and Type-C options, with or without a mic. I’ve been using it for approximately 3 weeks, and here is my full review discussing everything from design and price to sound quality.
Unboxing
In the Chorus box, first I got the Chorus Single DLC Dynamic Driver, and then in a small box, I got the 1.2-meter USB-C cable and 6 pairs of ear tips in two colors: dark grey and white transparent. Then there’s a warranty card and a how-to guide card. That’s all I got in the Chorus box.
The packaging is good and comes with a premium feel. One thing missing is a carry case, because having a carry case for wired earphones is very useful, especially for IEMs. But considering the budget price of $40, it’s not a downgrade at all.
Design and Build Quality

The gold-colored metal mesh at the center creates a nice contrast against the dark shell and serves as a visual focal point. Around the mesh, the branding is neatly integrated without looking excessive, maintaining a clean and sophisticated look.
The Driver shell adopts an ergonomic, custom-molded shape that sits comfortably in my ear. The smooth curves and compact size provides secure fit for most while allowing long listening sessions without discomfort.

As for the cable, I have the USB Type-C version with a built-in mic. It is also available in other options, including a version without a mic and a 3.5mm jack variant. The USB Type-C connection helps deliver the best possible sound quality, and on the left-side cable near the pin connector, there is a microphone for calls along with a multifunction button for play, pause, and other controls.
The cable is 1.2 meters long and features a silver-coated transparent design that perfectly complements the look of the drivers and adds to the overall aesthetic.
Overall, the design and build quality are impressive considering the budget price. The Chorus looks and feels more premium than its price suggests, making it a great option for budget-conscious audiophiles.
Audio Quality and Comfort
The Chorus is a collaboration IEM with B-Media, an experienced audio reviewer, and the audio quality of this IEM is impressive. The Kiwi Ears Chorus features a single DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) Dynamic Driver diaphragm, which delivers precise, low-distortion sound. In my testing, the mids sound lush and clear, while the bass hits with good impact without overpowering the rest of the frequencies.
