Design and Build Quality
The TH108 is available in two colors: black and a blue-and-white. I have the blue-and-white version, which features a solid white base with a combination of blue and white keycaps. I love these colors; they look beautiful on my desk.

This is a 100% sized mechanical keyboard with 108 keys, including a full-sized Numpad with a larger ‘+’ key and a dedicated ‘Enter’ key. On the front, to the right, there is a simple “Epomaker” logo. Behind the ‘Esc’ key, four indicator LEDs show the status for battery, Numpad, Caps Lock, and Scroll Lock. Above the Numpad, there are extra shortcut keys for volume control (increase/decrease, mute/unmute) and a quick launch for the calculator app.

On the back edge, a toggle in the center allows you to switch between connectivity modes, while a USB-C port handles charging and wired connectivity. There is also a toggle to switch between Windows and macOS. These toggles are fitted along a solid plastic strip that has a minimalist design and is secured with golden screws. The back of the keyboard also features a minimalist, curved line design. In the center, there is a small, silver metal plate with the model name and other details.

The Epomaker TH108 features two-stage adjustable kickstands, and the underside of the right kickstand has a convenient storage slot for the 2.4GHz receiver. On both sides of the keyboard, there is side RGB lighting which gives it a great gaming aesthetic.
As for the build quality, the case is made of thick ABS plastic, and the keycaps are PBT plastic. The case feels premium and solid, with very little wobble even if you apply extra force. The keys feel a bit soft and rubbery, which provides a comfortable typing sensation. Overall, the design is minimal and beautiful, and the build quality feels premium.
Switch, Keycaps and My Typing Experience
The EPOMAKER TH108 delivers a truly exceptional typing experience. The thick PBT plastic keycaps, have a slightly rubbery feel that is soft to the touch and provides a comfortable sensation with every keystroke. The sound, in particular is what sets this keyboard apart. It produces a deep, satisfying thocky sound.

This creamy sound is achieved through a five-layer sound-improvement sandwich foam, IXPE switch pad, Sound-Enhancement PET, PORON switch socket foam and a bottom silicone layer. This combination create that perfect acoustic profile but also cushions shocks with each bottom-out, delivering incredible comfort for your fingers. The TH108 truly treats your ears and fingers to an unparalleled level of tactile and auditory joy, making it perfect for both gaming and productivity.
The keyboard features a hot-swappable PCBA, which allows you to easily try out various typing styles and acoustic feedback from mainstream 5-pin mechanical switches. Out of the box, you can bask in the thocky melody of the pre-lubed Creamy Jade switches or the tranquil silence of the pre-lubed Sea Salt Silent switches.
RGB Backlight and Battery Life
The Epomaker TH108’s RGB backlight is properly visible and bright. You can use combined Fn keys to change effects and colors. The keyboard also features RGB side strips, which you can control separately. Additionally, you can download dedicated software to fully customize the colors, effects, and even key response.

Lighting Control Shortcuts
- Fn + Ins: Toggle Backlight Effects
- Fn + Del: Change Backlight Color
- Fn + Home: Change Side Strip Effect
As for the battery life, the EPOMAKER TH108 features a large 8000mAh battery. The company claims it provides up to 28 hours of backup with the RGB backlight on, and up to 160 hours with the backlight turned off—which is a huge amount. It could potentially last you a month if you only use it for work. In my testing, I saw a battery drain of around 20% over 3 hours of use with the full RGB backlight brightness and effects, including the side strips. The battery life is great for both gaming and work.
Tri-Mode Connectivity
The TH108 has tri-mode connectivity: Bluetooth, 2.4GHz wireless, and a USB-C wired mode.
- The company claims the Bluetooth mode provides an 11ms latency. In my testing, everything worked great with no lagging issues. It connects in seconds as soon as you turn on the keyboard.
- The 2.4GHz wireless mode works great using the receiver, providing 5ms of latency.
- The wired mode provides the best latency at 2ms, which is ideal for serious gaming.
There are no issues with the connectivity; every mode provides a good response with minimal delay, which is not noticeable even in Bluetooth mode.
Final Thought – is it worth to get?
I’ve been using EPOMAKER TH108 as my daily driver for a while now, and my final thoughts are pretty simple: this thing is a game-changer for its price.
When I first took it out of the box, I was instantly impressed. The blue and white colorway is so clean and it just looks great on my desk. The build quality feels solid and premium, even though it’s a ABS plastic body. You can give it a little twist if you really try, but for everyday use, it’s super stable and doesn’t feel cheap at all.
The sound is just perfect—that deep, satisfying “thocky” sound that you usually have to pay way more for. The Creamy Jade switches are smooth and feel incredible to type on. It’s an experience that really makes you enjoy using the keyboard, whether you’re typing up an essay or just chatting with friends. And the fact that it’s hot-swappable means you can change out the switches if you ever want to try something new, which is awesome.
I’ve used all three modes, and they all work flawlessly. The battery life is also just fantastic. While I didn’t get the full 160 hours with the RGB off, it still lasts for what feels like forever, and you don’t have to worry about charging it constantly.
Honestly, for a keyboard under $100, the EPOMAKER TH108 is an unbeatable deal. It’s a well-built, great-sounding, and feature-packed keyboard that’s perfect for anyone, whether you’re a beginner getting into mechanical keyboards or a seasoned user looking for a new daily driver.
